August 2, 2025 — Pedigo Park, Livingston, TX
In a time when online arguments too often spill into the streets, a different kind of event is taking root in Polk County—one that’s turning hate into hamburgers, shouting into sharing, and division into Common Ground.
Hosted by the Polk County Pagan Market, Common Ground: A Day of Kindness is a free public event designed for people of all beliefs and backgrounds who are ready to put kindness first.
Yes—even here in East Texas.
🌈 Why This Event Matters
For the past three years, the Pagan Market has faced heavy backlash—bullhorns, protests, online harassment, and a whole lot of misunderstanding.
But instead of pushing back with more anger, the organizers are pushing forward—with food, friendship, and fierce compassion.
This event isn’t about religion. It’s not about politics. It’s about feeding people, connecting the community, and proving that kindness isn’t controversial.
