Local Man Declares War on HOA Over ‘Unfair’ Rule Against Lawn Gnomes

LIVINGSTON, TX—In a bold and defiant move, Livingston resident, Bubba Jenkins, has launched a one-man crusade against his homeowners association (HOA) after they issued a citation for his beloved collection of lawn gnomes. Jenkins, a self-proclaimed gnome enthusiast, received a notice last week from the HOA stating that his whimsical garden decorations were in violation of the community’s strict guidelines on lawn ornaments.

“I ain’t gonna stand for this tyranny any longer,” declared Jenkins, as he proudly displayed his vast array of gnomes, ranging from traditional red-capped figures to more modern interpretations in sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts. “These little guys bring me joy, and no HOA is gonna tell me I can’t have them in my own dang yard.”

The dispute has sparked a heated debate in the neighborhood, with some siding with Jenkins in support of his right to express himself through lawn decor, while others argue that the gnomes are an eyesore and decrease property values.

Local authorities have been called to mediate the situation, but so far, Jenkins shows no signs of backing down. In fact, he has set up a makeshift “Gnome Sanctuary” in his front yard, complete with a sign proclaiming it a gnome-friendly zone.

“I’ll fight for my gnomes ’til the cows come home,” Jenkins declared, raising a gnome figurine in defiance. “This is about more than just lawn ornaments—it’s about freedom and the right to express ourselves however we dang well please.”

As tensions continue to rise in the neighborhood, residents are anxiously awaiting the outcome of this epic battle between one man and his gnomes and the powers that be in the HOA. In the meantime, Jenkins is planning a gnome-themed protest march through the streets of Livingston in a show of solidarity with his beloved ceramic companions.
