Local Man Demands HOA Allow Black Panther as Emotional Support Animal

POLK COUNTY, TX – The quiet town of Onalaska was thrown into chaos this week as local resident, Billy Ray Jenkins, launched a campaign to have his pet black panther, named Midnight, recognized as an emotional support animal by his homeowner’s association (HOA).

Jenkins, a self-proclaimed nature enthusiast and big cat lover, has been keeping Midnight in his backyard for the past six months, much to the dismay of his neighbors. However, when the HOA sent him a notice demanding that he remove the exotic animal from his property, Jenkins decided to fight back.

“This is an infringement on my rights as a Texan and a patriot,” Jenkins declared, standing proudly next to Midnight who was lazily lounging in the sun. “Midnight is not just a pet, she’s family. She helps me with my anxiety and stress, especially during these trying times.”

The HOA, on the other hand, argues that having a wild animal in a residential area poses a safety risk to the community. They have received multiple complaints from neighbors who claim to have seen Midnight roaming the streets at night, causing a stir among the local population.

In response to the controversy, a town meeting has been scheduled next week to discuss the issue further. Jenkins is planning to attend with Midnight by his side, hoping to sway the HOA board members with her undeniable charm and majestic presence.

As tensions continue to rise in Onalaska, one thing is for certain – this small town is not ready to handle the roar of a black panther in its midst.

In other news, the upcoming Texas Craft Fair in Livingston has announced a new attraction – a “Big Fish Caught from Lake Livingston” competition, promising to showcase the most impressive catches from local anglers. Residents are encouraged to participate and show off their fishing skills, with the grand prize being a year’s supply of homemade sweet tea.
