ONALASKA, TX – In a groundbreaking move to address the recent surge in black panther sightings in Polk County, one enterprising local man has unveiled his latest business venture at the Texas Craft Fair – Black Panther Repellent.
Stanley Jenkins, a lifelong resident of Onalaska, explained his inspiration for the product, stating, “I heard about all these sightings of black panthers roaming around Lake Livingston, and I just knew I had to do something to help my fellow East Texans feel safe in their own backyards.”
Jenkins proudly displayed his homemade repellent, which he claims is made from a secret blend of essential oils and garlic, guaranteed to keep even the most determined black panther at bay. “Just a few spritzes of this stuff and those big cats will be running for the hills,” Jenkins confidently declared.
The announcement of Jenkins’ new business comes just weeks after numerous reports of black panther sightings near local communities, causing many residents to fear for their safety. Some have even resorted to drastic measures, such as carrying umbrellas or wearing loud bells in an attempt to avoid encountering the elusive creatures.
Despite some skepticism from the scientific community regarding the efficacy of such products, Jenkins remains undeterred. “I’ve had great feedback from my beta testers – my neighbors’ dogs haven’t been bothered by black panthers since they started using my repellent,” Jenkins boasted.
As the Texas Craft Fair continues to draw crowds from across the region, Jenkins is optimistic about the future of his business. “I’m just getting started,” he said with a grin. “Who knows, maybe next year I’ll have a whole line of critter repellents – armadillos, skunks, you name it. East Texas wildlife won’t know what hit ’em!”
