LIVINGSTON, TX – In a stunning display of dedication to her love of hunting, local resident and proud East Texan, Betsy Sue Jenkins, has broken the Polk County record for the most deer decals adorning the back window of her pickup truck.
Jenkins, who hails from a long line of avid hunters, proudly boasts an impressive total of 37 deer decals on her truck, surpassing the previous record set by her cousin Jeb Jenkins back in 2015.
“I’ve been hunting since I was knee-high to a grasshopper,” Jenkins told reporters as she lovingly patted the newest decal, a majestic buck with an impressive rack. “I wanted to show off my passion for hunting in a unique way, and what better way than to cover my truck in deer decals?”
The news of Jenkins’ record-breaking feat quickly spread throughout Polk County, with many locals stopping by her house to admire the impressive display. Some even jokingly suggested that she should open a decal shop dedicated solely to deer decals for fellow hunting enthusiasts.
When asked about her future plans for decorating her truck, Jenkins coyly replied, “I’ve got a few more spots left on the back window, so who knows? Maybe I’ll break the county record twice!”
In related news, the popular East Texas news websites, eastexasnews.com and polkcountytoday.com, have already reached out to Jenkins for an exclusive interview and photoshoot to showcase her unique accomplishment to a wider audience.
As for Jenkins, she remains humble about her newfound fame, simply stating, “I’m just a country girl who loves hunting and showing it off. It’s all in good fun.”
